Elaichi (Cardamom) The queen of the spices

ImageLast week I was traveling with one of my friend to Mumbai. In those girly talks both of us just forgot to carry water bottle with us….As the sun is on its peak we were very desperate for water and by no chance wanted to wait till the food mall comes!!!!

Fifteen minutes past, suddenly I realized I have ELAICHI in my bag ( I use it everyday in office for preventing post lunch sleep..)

I offered it to Shalini, she took it in a expression of something is better than nothing!!

After sometime both of us were relieved with that thirsty dryness of mouth and could bear the thirst…..then what??

Shalini started her chitchat again asking me,” Hmmm…How did you get ELAICHI? So sweet of you and how nice it is etc….”
